Emmanuel hosts two community meals each week. These meals are free to the public, no questions asked.
On Monday evening, God’s Kitchen serves a hot dinner in our Genesis Room. Doors open at 5:00 PM. The evening begins with a brief Bible message. Tables are then dismissed to a buffet of assorted entrees, sides, and desserts. Emmanuel’s Closet is also open during this meal. Dinner is served until 5:45 PM.
Each Friday, the Pottstown Cluster serves a bagged lunch in our Genesis Room. Doors open at 11:30 AM and lunch is served through 12:15 PM. The menu varies from week to week and can include hot and cold sandwiches, chips, fruit, dessert, and a beverage.
Donations are received twice a week from Wawa and Pizza Hut. These sandwiches, pizzas, and other quick food items are frozen upon arrival and distributed to our meal and Closet guests.
Emmanuel supports Operation 143 with an ongoing Food Drive. We accept donations every day on the blue can located just outside the office. Once a month, the can is emptied and donations delivered to their headquarters located in Pottstown. For more information on Operation 143, click here.
